Meet Sid.
I trained through MMT after too many years of watching people get temporary relief from standard massage, then come back a fortnight later with the same complaint. Now I work with women whose pain keeps returning. Desk workers, runners, women through pregnancy and postnatal, and anyone whose body has quietly stopped doing what they want it to. Every first session starts with an assessment, because treating the sore spot without knowing what's pulling on it is guesswork.
My goal isn't only to relieve pain. It's to understand the pattern behind it and work with that.

Sound familiar?
You've Probably Said One of These.
Most people who book here have already tried a few things.
"I've had plenty of massages. They feel nice at the time, but nothing actually shifts."
"By 3pm my shoulders are up around my ears and there's a headache coming on."
"I've stopped training the way I want to, because something always flares up."
The approach
Why it Keeps Coming Back.
Most massage works on muscle. A lot of recurring tightness doesn't sit in muscle. It sits in fascia, the connective tissue that wraps every muscle and links them together. When fascia loses its glide, it pulls on everything attached to it. That's why the sore spot often isn't the problem, and why relief from a good massage fades a few days later. The tissue holding the pattern was never part of the treatment.
First
We work out what's going on
Your first session opens with a movement assessment. How you move, where restriction is building, what's compensating for what.
Then
Treatment follows the assessment
Hands-on work directed at the pattern, not only the spot that hurts. Technique gets chosen from what we find, not from a set routine.
After
You leave knowing where you're at
What was found, what was treated, what's worth doing next. Book session by session. No packages, no lock-ins.
Conditions
Where does it hurt?
Start with whatever sounds closest. Not sure? The assessment sorts that out.
Not sure which one applies? The initial assessment works it out, and treatment starts the same session.
Client Experiences
What clients say.
Baseballer • Elbow
"I'd been struggling with tennis elbow for over six months from playing baseball and had tried massage and braces but nothing seemed to help and was only getting worse. Seabreeze Bodywork took a personalised approach with their bodywork and took the time to delve into what the bigger issue was, rather than just a short term ‘quick fix’. After six sessions, I have full utilisation of my arm again from my tennis elbow, am no longer wearing a brace and am pain free."

Traveller • Lower Back
"I was referred by my partner after a long haul flight messed with my back. The massage was firm and worked wonders to loosen me up. Would definitely come back."

Plumber • Upper Body
"I was referred to Sid at Seabreeze Bodywork and Massage Mermaid Waters by my wife, after experiencing ongoing sinusitis that just wouldn't ease. Following the treatment, I felt significantly better and my sinus symptoms improved. I left feeling more comfortable and able to breathe much more easily. Sid was professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their overall wellbeing."

Desk Worker • Neck and Shoulders
"I booked in with Sid at Seabreeze Bodywork & Massage Mermaid Water as I've been struggling with tight shoulders, neck and lower back pain for some time. Sid took the time to understand my concerns and tailored the treatment to my needs. The treatment was both relaxing and effective. I left feeling refreshed, with noticeably less discomfort and much more movement than before my appointment. I would definitely return and recommend her services to others."

Chronic Pain • Knee
"Highly recommend Seabreeze Nurture Massage, visited for a deep tissue massage, absolutely needed the body reset that came with that! Went in feeling I had restricted movement and some muscle knots and left feeling great. Also had some very pleasing unexpected results with nerve issues I had around a knee reconstruction improving significantly."

Chronic Pain • Hip & Glute
"This was the best massage I’ve had in years. Sid has magic hands! She’s clearly so passionate and skilled at what she does, and really listened to what my body needed and what I was comfortable with. I’ve had ongoing mobility and range-of-motion issues after a hip injury, and I was honestly shocked at how much better I felt after just one session."

Common Questions
Before You Book?
The things most people want to know before a first session.
Still not sure whether this is the right fit? Call and ask. It's Sid who answers.
Any of the three. Most people take the 90-minute Full Session for a first visit, because it leaves enough hands-on time after the assessment. If you're short on time or budget, the 60-minute Focused Session still includes an assessment, you just get less treatment time after it.
No. Massage generally works on muscle. This works on the fascia and the movement pattern around it, and every first session starts with an assessment rather than going straight to the table.
It depends on the issue and how long it's been there. You'll get a realistic view after your assessment, rather than a package sold to you up front.

Ease the pain. Move more freely.
New clients start with a 90-minute initial assessment. We work out where the restriction sits and start treating it in the same session.
